Getting Published

Getting published in journals is a requirement for many librarians in academic settings. However, the publishing process can be a rewarding experience not only in academia but also in all aspects of librarianship. Becoming published allows you to get your feelings and message concerning librarianship out to your peers, gives back to your chosen profession, shares your research on a subject, and can be just plain fun. But how do you get from writing emails to seeing your name in black and white? There are many ways to start this process but first you need to figure out what you want to say. Once you figure that out please browse some of the resources listed so you can become published.
